Events where ideas, science and entrepreneurship meet
To stay up to date, visit our community on LinkedIn for the latest events.
Events at LAB42 are not side activities. They are part of how the community works.
Almost every week, researchers, founders, students and partners come together to discuss new ideas, test assumptions, present work in progress or explore how AI and deep-tech move from theory to real impact.
Some events are small and technical. Others bring together larger groups around a shared theme. All of them are connected by one thing: substance.
What kind of events happen at LAB42
You’ll find events focused on topics such as:
- applied AI and machine learning
- robotics and autonomous systems
- data infrastructure and ML operations
- responsible AI and governance
- logic, language and semantics
- AI in domains such as finance, health, mobility and security
These are not generic “innovation talks”. Most sessions assume a basic technical understanding and are designed to spark meaningful discussion — not just applause.
Who these events are for
LAB42 events are open to:
- AI & deep-tech entrepreneurs
- researchers and PhD candidates
- students in AI, computer science and related fields
- partners and organisations working close to science
If you enjoy asking difficult questions, learning from people who go deep, and discussing ideas that are still taking shape, you’ll feel at home here.
Why founders attend LAB42 events
For founders, events are often the easiest entry point into the LAB42 ecosystem.
They’re a chance to:
- test ideas with people who understand the technical depth
- meet researchers and potential collaborators
- spot talent early
- stay close to the latest academic developments
- connect informally with peers facing similar challenges
Many companies first encountered LAB42 by attending an event, and stayed because of the community behind it.
From event to collaboration
Events at LAB42 often lead to something more: a follow-up conversation, a student project, a research collaboration, or even a future team member.
If you attend an event and see an opportunity you’d like to explore further, the LAB42 team is happy to help you make the right connections.
