LAB42 receives honourable mention at Architectenweb awards ceremony!
The Architectenweb awards were presented on 8 November. An exciting evening for LAB42, as the building was nominated in the Educational Building of the Year category. The ITC faculty of the University of Twente won, but LAB42 received an honourable mention!

"LAB42 at Amsterdam Science Park hosts FNWI, ICAI, businesses, and organisations. It boasts a transparent, modular design with wood, glass, steel, and 3D-printed elements. The ground floor showcases a Visualisation and Robotics lab. A bright atrium guides the campus route. Demountable steel structure, floor panels and facade enhance sustainability. LAB42 is energy-neutral with various eco-friendly features.
The jury praises the facility's innovation, circularity and use of recycled materials. The demountable design allows easy adjustments. LAB42's modular structure and diverse appearance impress the jury, especially the lush atrium. The building is flexible, serving as a potential model for future structures."
